Aer Lingus announces Ireland West Airport Knock-London Heathrow route – Business Traveller

Aer Lingus will launch a route from Ireland West Airport Knock to London Heathrow on March 26.

The daily service will replace the carrier’s existing service to London Gatwick, which will cease operations on March 25. Customers booked on this route will be automatically rebooked onto a same day LHR flight at no additional cost.

Flight timings are as follows:

Departs NOC 1305, arrives LHR 1430

Departs LHR 1105, arrives NOC 1235

The airline says that it expects that the “convenience of Heathrow’s location will drive additional point-to-point demand and increased connecting traffic”.

Reid Moody, chief strategy and planning officer at Aer Lingus, said:

“Our new route from Knock to London Heathrow, accompanied with further network connectivity for our customers, is exciting for Aer Lingus and for the West of Ireland. With a direct service to one of Europe’s busiest airports, customers from the West will now be able to easily connect from Heathrow to destinations right across the globe.”
