The three-times-weekly service will be the only nonstop route between Brazil and Los Angeles when it launches on July 1, 2023.

Flights will be operated with LATAM’s three-class B777-300ER aircraft, configured with 38 seats in Premium Business, 50 in Economy +, and 322 in economy.

Schedules are as follows:

  • Departs Sao Paulo Guarulhos airport at 2305 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving into Los Angeles at 0700 the following day
  • Departs Los Angeles at 1300 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, arriving into Sao Paulo at 0520 the following day

The service is the first new route announcement following the approval by the US Department of Transportation for a trans-American joint venture between LATAM and Delta.

The development includes a new Delta Sky Club, as well as a centralised check-in lobby and expanded security checkpoint and baggage claim areas.
