Virgin Atlantic’s tier point threshold to increase to previous rates – Business Traveller

Virgin Atlantic’s Flying Club loyalty programme will revert to its standard tier point thresholds on April 1, 2023.
This means renewing or upgrading to Silver status will increase from the current rate of 300 to 400 Tier Points, and renewing or upgrading to Gold will increase from 800 to 1,000 Tier Points.
The carrier made a temporary reduction to its Flying Club tier point thresholds on 1 April last year to make it easier for members to move up the ranks while travel was gradually returning to normal.
Members who are close to achieving their next status will still be able to upgrade for less if they book and fly by 31 March, 2023.
